Disappointment from Essence Brit-Tea
I think you remember that I wrote about Essence Brit-Tea collection. I showed there how the collection looks like in reality. No matter how much I love Essence cosmetics, their new wonderful collection driven by inspiring ideas (at the moment I am very curious about Essence Nauti Girl collection) or would have a long list of my favorite products... Even the most loved ones disappoint sometimes. This time it happened with two of Brit-Tea collection products which I bought recently. Let me speak about them.
A beautiful idea, attractive packaging, and a total fizzle. Brit-Tea illuminating base (!) has got rose pearl color. It does not have illuminating particles as it is promised. At least I cannot find them. You can use it alone, before your foundation or after. It does not matter, because the effect is not visible in any case. Today I applied it before my favorite Bobbi Brown foundation, and the result was awful - this base made me look terrible. Frst, Iit did not let the foundation to spread evenly on my face. Second, some face areas became dry. I would not recommend applying it over your foundation because your make-up would look worse. I do not even know how I could use it. I do not like the strong sweet smell, which lasts for a while. Total disappointment.

I neither liked the product above, nor I liked Brit-Tea blush 01 tea-riffic garden party. It is beautiful to look at - flower print makes my heart beat stringer. Brush is made of three colors: cream, rose and pink. It looks to be nice: I make such mistakes rarely. The packaging is quite nice and is easy to open. So the product lacks just one thing - pigmentation. I tried to make you photos how it looks on my face, but I failed. The blush is just invisible on my face. I recommend to have this blush only as a beautiful thing in your bag. If you do not want to risk while buying from Essence, choose something from their nail polishes, foundations or lip care products.
P.S. The paper stick was impossible to remove easily. You can still see it.
