Well, first of all I have to tell you, that is not our flat where we are living now, but we are thinking of buying our own apartment, most probably a house in our near future. We have changed so many flats, I have lived in several different cities in my life that I have leart not to tie to one place, move fast and easily without any regrets. People, not places, cities, or flats count. No matter where I lived and how tiny the space was, I have always had my favorite home items, souvenirs, photo frames, and, of course, new home decor items with me.
Today I also want to share with you what new home decor details I have bought recently and to share my first impressions of them.
Welcome to my home
Fake bouquet: real fresh flowers is something divine, but when it comes to picking them I am quite against it. They are beautiful then they are alive. However, I still love flowers at home, but I choose the fake ones. One bouquet is enough for more and I use it for my photo-shoots, make-up pots, put it in a vase or everywhere my imagination requires.
Candles: I have recently become a real lover of candles (thanks to my mummy), mainly the ones from Christmas collection, which are now on sale everywhere. I love white, black and red home decor details so I have bought two red Christmas candles which look adorable in the bath. They cost about 2 Eu each and I bought them in Rimi. The white/black candle with three knots is perfect for our guest room. It is Elements Sense Fresh Cotton Scented Candle Pot from Maxima. I love its beautiful pot, even the box where it was put. 1,79 EU now. Glass mirror candle plate with white pearls is now 1.30 EU and I instantly fell in it. It can be used for many different purpose and , I think, looks very chic. So these are my latest candles.
Mugs: I love drinking big amounts of coffee and tea if I decide to take a break from my home routine. These white mugs with red rubber holders are supposed for take-away, but I love using them at home. The holder is too hot to take away. I bought two of them in Senukai 1 month ago.
I always have something sweet in case a guest come up at our home.
Beauty magazines collection is a must- have at my home.
The interior of my home is only 50% meets my taste requirements, but as I have mention it is only for a temporary period. White furniture pieces is what I like about my home the most.
Fake fur is laying here only because our dog likes to sleep here.
Our home has to be arranged in a way it would be completely safe for our daughter, so it makes it difficult to decor our home in the way we want.
Smell: you know how much I like natural smells, but last week I got this Bolsius Aromatic Home Fragrance in baked apple smell (3.62 EU now). Well, it looks nice with the sticks in the fragrance pot, but when it comes to a smell, it`s so synthetic that it is impossible to recognize the baked apple smell. When my husband came back home, the first thing he asked was where that awful smell was coming from. Now there are good discounts in Maxima, so that was my first and last try to fragrance my home with a synthetic smell. Fail.
